Sustainability & Business Spring Symposium

Our first Spring Symposium was held Friday, April 24-25, 2009 at William & Mary's Sadler Center. Hosted by our own Net Impact Undergrad student organization and the W&M Undergraduate Business program.

About Mr. Schiller: Aaron Schiller is Global Director of Sustainability at Saatchi & Saatchi. Over the past 10 years Mr. Schiller has worked with students, adults and organizations to focus on personal and organizational change. In 2006, Mr. Schiller joined forces with Adam Werbach and the San Francisco based sustainability consultancy Act Now Productions where he designed and facilitated over 100 day-long sustainability trainings for the 1.3 million associates of Wal-Mart.
Act Now Productions was acquired by Saatchi & Saatchi, a worldwide communications company, and renamed Saatchi & Saatchi S in 2008. Mr. Schiller led the team who designed and implemented a new kind of sustainability - True Blue. At the center of this movement is a community of personally engaged employees all over the world who are willing to Do One Thing (DOT). In 2009, Mr. Schiller was assigned to Saatchi & Saatchi and appointed Global Director of Sustainability to continue to organize, inspire and lead Saatchi to be the most sustainable advertising agency in the world. Mr. Schiller has a bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University.
