Early Decision for Study Abroad

Students studying abroad during the semester prior to their anticipated entry into the business program have the opportunity to apply for early decision to the majors program only through the regular admission application process. If you gain admission through the early decision process you are guaranteed a place in the class that will enter the business program the semester following your semester abroad.

When applying, students must meet the following qualifications of total credit hours and GPA by the end of the semester in which they apply in order to be considered as an early decision applicant.  Prerequisites may be completed while abroad, however, they must be completed prior to entry into the business program.

  • Completed 42 credit hours
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.00
  • Introductory Microeconomics (ECON 101 or ECON 151)
  • Introductory Macroeconomics (ECON 102 or ECON 152)
  • Introductory Calculus (MATH 108, MATH 111, MATH 112, MATH 131, or MATH 132)
  • Introductory Statistics (BUAD 231, MATH 106, ECON 307, PSYC 301, SOCL 353, KINE 394, or MATH 351)
  • Principles of Accounting (BUAD 203)
