Process Management & Consulting

Process management & consulting is offered both as a major and concentration.

Major

The process management & consulting major is designed for students interested in managing and leading organizations or consulting with organizations.  Students develop skills and tools needed to design more effective processes and make quicker and better decisions. Students graduating with a process management & consulting major are likely to pursue careers in both the private and public sectors in areas such as organizational architecture, consulting, process and transformation management, as well as management of operating units of organizations.

Concentration

Students majoring in another business discipline may a process management & consulting concentration consisting of six credits.

* Students pursuing a process management & consulting major or concentration who choose to take BUAD 431 Strategic Analysis & Consulting, may count this course in place of BUAD 432 Strategic Management in order to satisfy the major strategy requirement (part of the upper-level core courses).  Students may not apply both BUAD 432 and BUAD 431 to the 120 degree requirement.  Students may, however, apply both BUAD 431 and BUAD 433 Strategies of Entrepreneurship.
