Accounting

Students pursuing a minor in accounting complete 18 credits in accounting.  The accounting minor provides an in-depth look into accounting practices and principles.

Finance

A minor in finance requires 18 credits of introductory and advanced financial management coursework.  The finance minor provides students with a thorough background in financial practices, valuation, and financial strategy.

Management & Organizational Leadership

For students enrolled in the business program Fall 2009 or later.  Those enrolled prior to Fall 2009 see old management minor requirement.

As a minor in management & organizational leadership students complete 18 credits of introductory and advanced managerial topics. The minor integrates the various business disciplines and provides students with a strong background in management theory, organizational development, and decision making in the business environment.

Management

For student enrolled in the business program prior to Fall 2009.  Those enrolled Fall 2009 or later follow the new management & organizational leadership minor requirements.

As a minor in management students complete 19 credits of introductory and advanced managerial topics. The management minor integrates the various business disciplines and provides students with a strong background in management theory, organizational development, decision making, and the legal context surrounding businesses.

Marketing

A minor in marketing consists of 18 credits of study, including five required courses and one additional elective. These courses focus student's understanding of marketing beyond basic principles to look more critically at advertising strategies, decision theory, marketing in a digital world, and consumer behavior.

Process Management & Consulting

The process management & consulting minor consists of 18.5 credits.  The minor is designed for students interested in managing and leading within organizations, consulting with organizations, and developing the skills and tools to design more effective processes and make quicker and better decisions.
