Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is offered as a concentration.

Concentration

Students majoring in another business discipline may add an entrepreneurship concentration. It consists of two required courses (one of which fulfills the strategy requirement from the upper-level core curriculum) and three credits of electives.

Required Courses (3 credits each)
BUAD 433  Strategies of Entrepreneurship*
BUAD 443  Entrepreneurial Ventures

Electives (Choose 3 credits)
BUAD 419  Valuation (3 credits)
BUAD 450  Global Marketing (3 credits)
BUAD 474  Negotiation (3 credits)
BUAD 476  Electronic Commerce (3 credits)

* Students pursuing an entrepreneurship concentration are required to take BUAD 433 Strategies of Entrepreneurship, which fulfills the strategy requirement (part of the upper-level core courses).  Students may not apply both BUAD 433 and BUAD 432 Strategic Management towards the 120 hour degree requirement.  Students may, however, apply both BUAD 433 and BUAD 431 Strategic Analysis & Consulting.
