The Full-Time MBA Experience

The William and Mary MBA exposes you to a wide array of complex, real-world business experiences.  You will refine your business acumen through core courses, electives, Career Acceleration Modules (CAMs), the Field Consultancy Program, and our Leadership Development Experience. 

The William and Mary MBA program offers an integrated approach to management with the opportunity to deepen your expertise and prepare for careers in the areas of consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and operations and information technology.  This immersion in a real-time business environment arms you with extraordinary insight into today's business issues and a powerful skill set to lead organizations through future business challenges.

To be successful you must be able to address the intricacies of the business world where opportunities and challenges impact multiple functional areas in an organization.  The structure of our program mirrors the complexities of the business world by combining theory with practice.   As an MBA student, you will utilize our ever-expanding network of business resources to achieve your potential.  Your first year of studies is divided into three modules, each composed of core courses.

You will also begin fostering mentorships in the Leadership Development Experience.  Following a summer internship, your second year brings you into the business world.  You will take part in two Career Acceleration Modules during the fall semester, followed by your Field Consultancy project, and a mixture of core and elective courses in the spring.
