Business to Business Marketing CAM

Learn the true 'business of business'

Think “marketing” and attracting individual customers come to mind. But what if your customers are other businesses? You have a product they need. And you need to get the word out to them.

That’s where Business-to-Business Marketing comes into play. It’s a dynamic field, with an estimated $85 billion a year spent promoting goods and services.

By taking the Business to Business Marketing CAM you will prepare for careers in brand management, sales, and sales management. The module includes learning first-hand the current best practices in B2B marketing through intense interaction with B2B company executives at every level.

We don’t scrimp on expertise. Recent CAM speakers include the vice president of marketing for Manhattan Associates;  executives from Cisco Systems; a Du Pont Fellow; the business manager of Spruance Research Laboratory, Du Pont Advanced Fibers Systems; a partner of CSO Insights, and the managing director of Insight Venture Partners.

The module is taught by Ron Hess and industry professional Joe Southworth. Their combination of real-world experience and academic research brings a unique perspective and depth to each class session.

In a quick seven weeks, you’ll engage in activities that focus on skill set practice and application through developing B2B marketing strategies, relationship management, strategic pricing in a competitive marketplace, sales force and distribution management, and negotiation.

It’s a faster world these days, and B2B marketing is requiring a more customized approach to get products out there. This module will help you learn to build relationships and alliances – to bring business to business.
