Career Acceleration Modules

Business is a game played quickly — and you have to be quick to keep up. William & Mary’s Career Acceleration Modules (CAMs) put you on the fast track. And keep you in the lead.

The CAM Concept
It’s a brilliantly simple concept, a revolutionary concept, and richly rewarding. Advanced academic training in business — ongoing, direct contact with business experts — hands-on experience. All in seven weeks.

The CAMs are intensive — and so are the results. You’re immersed in academic and experiential activities. You visit corporate settings. Work on consulting projects. Pour through case analyses. Engage in business simulation exercises. And you learn — a lot — from an impressive lineup of speakers.

This total immersion impacts your bottom line as a Mason School MBA: to wow potential employers with your skills and know-how. Bring the wealth of relevant, field-specific experience to a job interview and people take notice. Demonstrate the interdisciplinary savvy you learn from our team of faculty and Executive Partners and you’re well on your way to opening countless doors.

CAM Speakers

Active chief executives of major global companies — owners of private firms in the region — our own Mason School Executive Partners. From top leaders of organizations to key operational managers, you’ll get the full picture. Their diversity will give you the practical content, far-reaching perspectives, and great ideas you need to succeed.

Company and Site Visits

Our  CAMs focus on real-time business issues — in real places. We take you on field trips that allow you to observe and participate. You witness first-hand how current business methods and analytical tools are applied to company decision-making processes.

Our location in Williamsburg puts us close to the action. Past MBA students have visited the Securities Exchange Commission, the World Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Bank, and many others. They’ve gone to companies — Anteon Corporation, Morgenthaler Ventures, Johnson & Johnson, the Campbell Soup Company, and Capital One, among the many.

Put yourself on the fast track to a bright future. It’s waiting for you.
