Degree Requirements
The Flex MBA program requires a total of 54 credit hours of coursework for completion. Core (required) courses comprise 39 hours of the curriculum and the remaining 15 hours are electives. Students are typically required to take the full 18 hours of foundation core courses before beginning electives.
The typical Flex MBA student completes an MBA in three years. This timeframe involves the student taking six credit hours per semester, year-round, for three years (spring, summer and fall semesters.) Because we understand the demands on working professionals, we allow students up to five years to complete the program. A military deployment stops the five-year clock. Students can take more or fewer credit hours per semester, depending on their schedules, and can take semesters off if needed. Students can also accelerate their pace. Our staff are happy to help you plan a course of study that works with your schedule.
