Evaluation Criteria

The Admissions Committee considers a variety of factors when reviewing an application.  Two of these components are particularly important.  First, we look for indications that a prospective student will thrive in our academic environment.  This is determined mainly through an applicant's transcripts and standardized test scores.  Second, we assess future managerial potential through the applicant's personal statements, professional experience and letters of recommendation.

We welcome applications from graduates of accredited colleges and universities in all academic disciplines, and we consider the following aspects of a candidate's profile when evaluating each application:

  • A demonstrated record of achievement
  • Prior academic performance at an accredited college or university with the minimum of a U.S. bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent
  • Breadth and depth of work experience; we consider the impact a candidate has made on an organization, growth in responsibility over time and other factors when evaluating experience, not simply the number of years
  • Leadership potential
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid decision-making skills
  • Results orientation
  • GMAT scores
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Extracurricular and community involvement
