Flex MBA Tuition, Scholarships and Financial Aid

Students of the Flex MBA Program at The College of William & Mary receive an exceptional MBA education with comparatively low tuition and fees. And the return on investment is undeniable. Our Flex MBA alumni reap the financial benefits of their Top-40 ranked degree over the course of their career, and the payback often begins with a promotion or new higher-level position before they have even completed the Program.

Tuition

Part-time students in the Flex MBA Program enjoy the lowest MBA tuition of all Mason School of Business MBA programs. Flex MBA students pay per credit hour and are considered to be part-time as long as they take less than nine credit hours per semester. If a Flex MBA student registers for nine or more graduate-level credit hours during the Fall or Spring semesters, the College will automatically charge the full-time tuition rate, which is significantly higher than the part-time credit hour rate. In the summer semester, students may take nine or more credits at the part-time rate. There is a distinct financial advantage for our Flex MBA students.

2017 - 2018 Academic Year

Tuition In-state Out-of-state
Per Credit Hour (less than nine per semester) $825 $1,225
Six Credit Hours (typical semester load) $4,950 $7,350
Fees
Student Orientation/Administrative Fee (billed with tuition) $300
Flex MBA Association Dues (one-time fee) $85
Summer Session Administrative Fee (billed with tuition) $80
Graduation Fee $85

Annual increases in tuition and fees are announced each May by the William & Mary Board of Visitors, and take effect in August.

Virginia residents and military personnel at a permanent duty station must apply to receive in-state tuition status. Applications for in-state tuition privileges are due before the first day of classes for the term in which you plan to enroll as an in-state student.

Scholarships
Flex MBA 1693 Scholarship

The Flex MBA 1693 Scholarship pays tribute to the year in which William & Mary was chartered by King William III and Queen Mary II of England. Known as the Alma Mater of the Nation, the University served, from the very beginning, as a catalyst and crucible for the ideas and the people who would, quite literally, change the world.

Four scholarships will be awarded each year to newly admitted Flex MBA students - two in the Fall semester admissions intake, and two in the Spring admissions intake.

Each award will reduce the tuition rate for the scholarship recipient by $16.93 per credit hour, totaling $914.22 over the course of the entire 54 credit hour program.

April 1st is the deadline for the Fall application cycle, and September 1st is the deadline for the Spring.

See full details, including scholarship criteria, requirements, and complete application details at the 1693 Scholarship Portal.

Corporate Partnership Scholarship

Employees of a Corporate Partner who become admitted into our Flex MBA or Executive MBA programs will receive a Partnership Scholarship that provides a 10% reduction off of the regular tuition rate*.

*Scholarship is applied to tuition only and is not applicable to other program related fees.
