Business school grad sells upscale bags made from recycled bottles

Hamilton Perkins, a 2014 graduate of the Executive MBA program at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business, has partnered with Threat International to produce one-of-a-kind duffel bags made from recycled plastic water bottles, poster art, and billboards. Targeted to the conscientious shopper, each eco-friendly bag is handcrafted by Haitian artisans and helps to provide jobs to citizens of developing nations.

“You can carry this bag and feel good about it,” said Dawn Edmiston, Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at the Mason School. “He has developed an amazing product.” Hamilton Perkins Collection bags are available at hamiltonperkins.com.
