Master of Accounting

Being America’s best small accounting program is an amazing piece of brass, but we’d prefer to focus on the fact that W&M MAcc graduates are consistently hired in all of the Big Four firms as well as with regional companies, government agencies, and private industry.

With students from both accounting and non-accounting backgrounds, the MAcc program encourages diversity. Each student works individually with the director of the program to determine the course of study most suited to his/her background and interest.

In addition to exceptional faculty and a challenging variety of courses, the MAcc program also offers the Veris CPAtrek. This week-long trip is designed to provide a deeper insight into real-world accounting by introducing students to top people in the industry and the wide range of issues they handle every day.
