Yellow Ribbon Program

For tuition and fees that exceed those covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill, the Yellow Ribbon Program is another option. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a voluntary contribution made by schools in order to supplement the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

For the upcoming year (2010-11), W&M will participate with five graduate students at $1,000 per semester that is matched by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The VA determines which students are eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program and W&M has a waiting list for available spots. Funded students for one year continue to be eligible the next year, so long as they remain enrolled and W&M continues to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program.
