Watkins' company closer to a new lupus treatment

Human Genome Sciences CEO H. Thomas Watkins III, BBA '74, says his company's new lupus drug has proven effective in clinical trials.

Watkins told the New York Times, “We knew the drug was safe and biologically active.”
