Garner AnthonyA visionary for the communications business, Garner Anthony is the former Chairman and CEO of Cox Enterprises. Over his 13 year span with the company, Anthony helped transform the closely held family company into one of the nation’s leading telecommunications companies.

Also noted for his significant philanthropic causes, Anthony has been a supporter of both the College and the tennis team since his graduation. He has served as member of the College’s Board of Visitors from 1988 – 1991 and is an honorary lifetime member of the President’s Council.
