Stephen Kenny
Steve is a Partner at Ernst & Young, LLP. He has over 15 years of experience and currently serves as an audit partner on a number of large multinational financial services companies.
Steve spends a significant amount of his time focused on the private equity industry, with clients such as The Carlyle Group and Perseus Capital. He also serves on a task force formed by E&Y to address accounting and reporting issues that face the private equity industry. In addition to his private equity clients, Steve also serves as an audit partner on CapitalSource Inc. (ticker: CSE), a specialty finance company and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly the National Association of Securities Dealers), the regulatory body for the securities industry.
Steve received his undergraduate degree in accounting from The College of William and Mary and his graduate business degree in finance from Columbia University. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Texas and New York.
