Jen Flinchum is a 1993 graduate of William & Mary and is currently a Tax Principal at Keiter,Stephens, Hurst, Gary & Shreaves, PC in Richmond, Virginia. Keiter Stephens is a regional accounting firm which focuses on privately held businesses and their owners. After obtaining her undergraduate degree at William & Mary, she received a Masters of Taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jen applies her significant tax experience in compliance and strategic consulting, tax accruals, mergers and acquisitions, multi-state tax issues, and executive compensation. Jen works with clients to manage both tax liability and risk. She assists in the identification of tax credit opportunities (both federal and state) which have resulted in substantial savings for both corporate and individual clients. In addition to her work with privately held businesses, she has worked with four publicly traded companies as their outsourced tax department.
Prior to joining Keiter Stephens, Jen worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. In the 2004 through 2008 surveys conducted by Virginia Business magazine, Jen was named one of Virginia's Super CPAs for individual taxation.
Jen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Corporate Growth, and the ESOP Association. Jen is a Board Member for the Arthritis Foundation and previously served as Treasurer. Previously she served as a Board member for the William & Mary Alumni Association, Richmond Chapter.
