David K. Lehnertz:
Semi-Retired. Consulting Engineer with Computer Sciences Corporation. Former Executive Account Manager for several large Information Technology corporations (PRC, Raytheon, CSC) directing new and follow-on business development ventures for government and civilian clients. Served as Program Manager for complex software and hardware integration effort for U.S. military client at overseas location. Former Senior Air Force Officer with 26 years experience in operations and planning. Serves as Coordinator for Greater Williamsburg Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. BS in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin; MBA in Production Management from St. Edward’s University.

Richard I. Linhart:
Prior to retirement, spent 28 years in various senior positions with several large multi-bank holding companies and also worked in a smaller community bank. Prior to that, spent 12 years in public accounting with Ernst and Young.  Most recently, prior to retirement, I was the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a start-up a de novo bank in Northern Virginia called James Monroe Bancorp, Inc..  We started this bank by raising $7.5 million in capital, grew the bank significantly over 8 years to over $600 million in assets, took the bank public, and then sold the bank in 2006.  Significant experience in raising capital in the capital markets, negotiated and consummated over 25 bank and leasing company acquisitions, managed investment portfolios in excess of $2 billion, managed Trust and Asset Management functions in excess of $1 billion in assets.  Also have significant experience in all disciplines of banking including technology operations, risk control, and marketing strategies.  Completed the first regulatory approved acquisition of a thrift by a bank holding company in 1981.  Also held several security licenses and has been a CPA since 1969.

William O. Lippman:
Served as President of Armor/Kone Elevator Co., the American subsidiary of Kone Oy of Helsinki in Finland. Gained prior experience with O & K Escalator Inc., as President of Commercial Operations. Held various sales and general management positions with the Elevator and Furniture Systems Divisions of Westinghouse Electric Corp. Experienced in international business, acquisitions, marketing, market segmentation, sales and general management. BS in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University; Advanced Management Program, University of Texas at Austin.

Margaret Liptay:
Former Managing Director of various operating units of Marsh & McLennan Companies [a $12 billion professional services firm]. Responsible for P&L, revenue growth, client development and retention, colleague development and strategic acquisitions for the retail brokerage subsidiary of MMC, Marsh Inc. Marsh Inc. is the largest risk management consulting and commercial account insurance placement broker in the world. Last position was Director of the Los Angeles Division of Marsh- a $100 million operation with 500 colleagues [the 3rd largest operation in the firm] with superb financial results, accomplished while absorbing the merger of a firm of equal size and scope but radically different culture. Throughout career responsibilities have included leading and growing Connecticut Operations, Bermuda and Dublin Operations and leading the Global Client Development effort. After leaving Marsh Inc. in 2001, assumed an adjunct professor position at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business - School of Management, teaching Leadership and Change and Team Dynamics. Currently accept consulting assignments from former clients to assist them in their Risk Management process and evaluations. MBA in Organizational Behavior and BBA in Marketing from Iona College, New Rochelle NY.

Ronald E. Lodzieski:
Formerly Managing Director, Citibank NA. Most recently, Citigroup's Audit and Risk Review Managing Director for Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior Audit responsibility was MD for Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Through a 30 year Citigroup career, additional positions held have included: Regional Director of New York and Southeast US Private Banking; Corporate and Consumer Bank Head ,Greece; Regional Risk Asset Review Supervisor, Europe; Representative and Corporate Bank Head, Iran; and Department Head, Hong Kong. BS from US Naval Academy and MBA from Colgate Darden, UVA.

Stephen Louie:
Served 30 years with Exxon Mobil Corp., where he held various management positions in fuels and lubricants refining. Last served as European Lubricants Advisor in England, focusing on international operations. Held positions at Exxon laboratories and engineering facilities, overseeing new product development, process research, new technology implementation, and post-merger integration of operations. Served as Exxon Mobil’s senior advisor in the lubricants business. Currently consulting on refining issues. BS in Chemical Engineering from the City College of New York; graduate studies in Operations Research at Columbia University; MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University; post-graduate study in Petrography at Pennsylvania State University.

James Loy:
In 2005, Admiral James Loy completed a 45-year career in public service, retiring as Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security. In this capacity, he was involved in all aspects of consolidating 22 separate agencies into one unified Cabinet department as well as managing the day-to-day activities of the agency.  Prior to the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security in 2002, Admiral Loy served in the Department of Transportation as Deputy Under Secretary for Security and Chief Operating Officer of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and later as Under Secretary for Security. In these roles, he served as the first administrator of the newly created TSA, which is responsible for protecting the Nation's transportation systems to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce.

Alan G. Lutz:
Semi-Retired. Currently, Managing Director of Kassandra Group, a management consulting firm for the telecommunications and computer industries. Previous positions in the high technology industries include: CEO, Cereva Networks Inc., a pre-revenue storage networking company; COO, Newbridge Networks, Inc. an NYSE listed telecommunications equipment supplier; Senior Vice President & Group General Manager, Communications Products Group, Compaq Computer Company; Executive Vice President & President, Computer Systems Group, Unisys Corporation; and Senior Vice President & President, Network Systems Group, Nortel Networks. As CEO and COO I was responsible for all strategic and operational functions of the firms including acquisitions / divestitures, Wall. St. relationships, and financial results. Formerly, member of the Boards of Directors of both U.S. and Japanese corporations. BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; MSEE from University of New Hampshire; MBA from the University of New Hampshire.

Daniel K. Malone:
Currently consulting in telecommunications and economic development, and serving as Member of the Board at World Teleport Association and at the George Marshall International Center. Has served as Advisor to the Virginia Center for Innovative Technology and advisor to the Virginia Legislature Joint Commission on Technology and Science. Assumed the role of President of Wild and Leitz Technologies, USA after serving in the capacity of consulting engineer with parent Swiss optical company, Wild Heerbrugg. Accepted U.S. Army assignments in Moscow, Brussels and Washington. BS in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy; MBA from Syracuse University; Senior Research Fellow at the National Defense University.

Akira (Aki) P. Matsushima:
Active. President of Matsushima Management since 2000, providing international management consulting for private sector clients. Special emphasis in the area of cross-cultural business communication, technology and collaboration between international companies. Formerly with SKF Corporation, a Swedish conglomerate, serving as Senior Vice President, Sealing Product Division. Also formerly Executive Vice President of NOK-USA, a Japanese corporation, overseeing all North American operations. Previously Vice President of Technology for NOK in Japan. Official Japanese delegate to International Standardization Organization (ISO), attending conferences in Chicago, The Hague, Frankfurt and Tokyo. Extensive community leadership. BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Waseda University in Tokyo; MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business.

Thomas K. “Kerry” McCarter:
Currently President/Director for MedSci Technologies, Inc. and CEO of Soluble Systems LLC, both medical device startups. Mr. McCarter has a proven ability to lead business growth in start-up companies and in difficult “turnarounds". As Regional VP/Managing Director, he played a key role in returning Revlon Europe to profitability. As Managing Director/President/Regional VP of Johnson & Johnson Companies in Russia and Western Europe, Mr. McCarter restructured a number of businesses to improve both market share and profitability. As VP Marketing for J&J Hospital Services, he introduced industry leading marketing programs and expanded participation in alternative healthcare markets. Prior to his two decades with J&J, Mr. McCarter held management positions with Procter & Gamble and General Electric in marketing, manufacturing, and human resources and wrote for FORBES Magazine. He studied at Washington University St. Louis, The Maxwell School of Syracuse University and holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

Blythe McGarvie:
Active. Currently President of Leadership for International Finance, LLC, a business consulting firm focusing on improving clients' financial position. Her firm specializes in addressing the business and corporate governance challenges of US and multinational companies, primarily in the consumer goods and retail industries. Robert D. McKnew:
Formerly Managing Director and Co-Head, Global Capital Markets Group, Bank of America. Responsible for debt securities, foreign exchange, derivatives, futures and public finance activities, worldwide. Experience in trading, structuring, and managing businesses dealing in these financial markets. Government experience advising Treasury and New York Federal Reserve Bank on debt management, foreign exchange policy, and regulatory matters. BA from Dickinson College; MBA from Amos Tuck School, Dartmouth College.

Dennis D. McSweeney:
Currently serving as an education specialist with the Jamestown Yorktown Foundation. Formerly, served in multiple senior level managerial positions at the Department of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, DC. Expertise includes crisis management, corporate level strategic planning, ethics in the workplace, and public/media relations. Earlier experience includes over 30 years in leadership and project management positions in the Department of the Army. BS in Accounting from Gannon University; MS in Business Education from Temple University.
