Our International Emphasis option allows you to internationalize your business degree by integrating your study abroad experience with formal coursework in business and cultural studies.  The combination provides the foundation for a global education, enhancing your perspective as well as academic knowledge.  Through the Global Education Office (GEO), students were able to find the abroad program that best suited their Individual Program of Studies (IPS). 

Students in recent years have gone to Dublin, Madrid, Paris, Adelaide, and Exeter to fulfill their cultural requirements for a degree with an International Emphasis.  Students have studied Australian Culture and Lifestyles, Ancient Rome and Its Monuments, Dutch Language and Culture, Architecture and Painting in Madrid, The Rise of the European Union, History of London, and Women’s Roles in Present-Day Spain.  You could study language, history, art, international finance, culture, foreign politics, film, and international marketing.  Study what interests you and strengthen your degree from the Mason School of Business.
