Undergraduate Business Student Association (UBSA): UBSA an association of undergraduate students in The Mason School of Business dedicated to creating an exceptional learning community. The UBSA strives to: provide invaluable interaction with faculty members and outside speakers; offer opportunities for professional and leadership development; and create a community of students, faculty, and staff working together to achieve common goals in the Undergraduate Business Program. Opportunities for all members include: leadership, community service, networking, social activities and much more.
Howard J. Busbee Finance Academy: The Howard J. Busbee Finance Academy is the Mason School of Business’s student organization dedicated to assisting students who have a desire to learn about careers in finance. The Finance Academy, founded just a few years ago, brings students face to face with those who have lived the life on Wall Street, as well as recent alumni to share their experiences.
Gibbs Accounting Society: The Wayne F. Gibbs Accounting Society facilitates the communication of important information to accounting students. Additionally, the Society brings guests with academic and professional experience to campus and provides an opportunity to know and work with other students at the College, thus contributing to the strength of the Accounting Program.
Synergy: W&M Chapter of the American Marketing Association: The William & Mary Chapter of the AMA provides an outlet for students interested in marketing. Students have the opportunity to meet with other students interested in the field and to further those interests by learning about the career field. The organization also brings prominent speakers with exceptional professional experience to campus to see the different sides to marketing.
Tribe Consulting Club: The Tribe Consulting Club, founded during the 2006-2007 academic year, is a student organization dedicated to bringing its students a well-rounded base in the field of consulting. The group holds meetings to teach students more about consulting in practice and also brings professional consultants to open students to what it is that a consultant does in business.
