Marketing

The marketing curriculum instills in students the theory and reality of consumer behavior, global marketing, and marketing research.  Further, the program improves students' critical thinking skills and how they analytically approach a business situation.

Major

The major in marketing teaches students the business perspective and psychological perspective of marketing in today's world. 

  • Learn about global marketing
  • Improve your understanding of pricing policies, advertising, and publicity
  • Understand the psychology of consumer behavior

Concentration

A concentration in marketing helps students to understand the consumer perspective on products, pricing changes, and product placement.  The marketing concentration:

  • Provides a consumer context to business and marketing decisions
  • Improves interpersonal and communication skills
  • Emphasizes creativity and analytical skills
