For more details on the prerequisites and requirements for admission to the business school, consult the Admissions Course Prerequisites Guide (PDF).
Business Statistics (BUAD 231) is recommended for students pursuing a business degree. However, students who may be considering a double major or minor in another discipline may use any of the aforementioned introductory statistics courses to fulfill the business prerequisite.
Students who apply during the spring semester of their sophomore year for entry in the fall semester need to have at least 54 credits and demonstrate the successful completion of all the prerequisite courses by the end of the summer session.
Students who are admitted to the majors program will be asked to indicate their anticipated major area of study. However, it is not until the middle of the Foundation Semester (the first semester in the Business Program) that students will be required to officially declare their major in one of the major disciplines. Please consult the Business Curriculum Advising Guide (PDF) for additional course information.
