Admission for Minors

To be considered for admission, all prospective business minors must meet the following qualifications prior to the semester in which they enter the program:

  • Junior Standing (completion of 54 credit hours)
  • Minimum overall GPA of 2.75

Students who have completed the following courses will be given preference in the admissions process for minors:

Accounting Principles of Accounting (BUAD 203)
Finance Principles of Accounting (BUAD 203)
Statistics (BUAD 231, MATH 106, ECON 307, PSYC 301, KINE 394, MATH 351, or SOCL 353)
Management Principles of Accounting (BUAD 203)
Marketing Introduction to Microeconomics (ECON 101 or 151)
Introduction to Macroeconomics (ECON 102 or 152)
