Notes From The Field

Don't Just Learn It.  Live It.

Each Field Consultancy team works under the guidance of a Faculty Supervisor and two Executive Partners to address management issues, develop a deeper understanding of the interdependence of functional areas and polish teamwork and communication skills.

Clients benefit from a fresh, innovative perspective on a business problem and have the opportunity to observe your business savvy in action. In many cases, the Mason School of Business develops long-term working relationships with our Field Consultancy clients that result in post-MBA professional opportunities for our students.

We are one year old in having our Field Consultancy Program in the Spring semester.  This last year has been very successful with a wide range of interesting projects.  Our Program would like to thank the Executive Partners and Faculty Supervisors for their continued support of our Program and to the Mason students - you are invaluable!

Just a gentle reminder to rising second year students - Team assignments will be based on your 2009 Career Interest Forms that were collected last year.  Team assignments will be made available to you during the Student Orientation Session on October 30, 2008.  It is very important that you attend!
