Application Deadlines

The MBA Admissions team welcomes inquiries from and interactions with prospective students in all stages of the admissions application process. We offer a variety of venues in which you can learn more about the William and Mary MBA experience, including information sessions, MBA fairs, campus visits and in-person or telephone interviews. Our admissions events list contains complete details.

Beginning in November, the MBA Admissions Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis as they are completed. Decisions are typically made within two weeks to one month following completion and in many cases much earlier. We recognize that your application is best prepared after you undertake a thorough self-reflection and assessment of your goals for the MBA rather than when focusing on a particular deadline. For enrollment planning purposes, we have outlined below the recommended deadlines by which you should plan to apply.

Scholarship Deadline

If you wish to receive priority consideration for merit-based scholarships, apply by March 1, 2009 for the Full-time MBA. Your completed application should include your interview and GMAT.

International Students

Plan to apply by April 1, 2009 to allow for visa processing time if admitted to the Full-time MBA.

Interviews

The interview is an integral part of your application for admission. It is most effective if conducted after a completed application is received. We encourage you to make arrangements for your interview well in advance of our recommended application deadlines.

We will host on-campus interviews on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and telephone interviews on Wednesdays and Fridays. In some cases, exceptions can be made to this interview schedule. Please contact the MBA Admissions Office to request an interview
