You may have read the recent press (Wall Street Journal, January 4, 2007) on Bob Nardelli’s departure at Home Depot, and how this event brought into focus Six Sigma, a management technique he strongly championed there…The Journal report goes on quoting a recent report by QualPro, Inc., claiming that deployment of the Six Sigma methodology failed to boost share prices at Home Depot, and many other companies which have adopted Six Sigma over the years.

Quality Management Solutions and Continuous Process Improvement with Six Sigma Briefing and Certification with Lean Six Sigma

The Center for Corporate Education offers two primary Six Sigma programs, the Six Sigma Briefing and the Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma certification.  The Six Sigma Briefing is offered twice a year as an open enrollment program.  The Lean Green Belt Training and Certification is offered as a custom program and can be tailored to meet the goals and objectives of any organization and industry.

Six Sigma Briefing

The Six Sigma Briefing is a half-day program designed to give participants an overview of what Six Sigma is and how it is being used as a quality management tool in today’s business environment.  Additionally will cover:

·         The primary tools and methodologies of Six Sigma

·         How it differs from other management initiatives that have come before it

·         How it’s being used across industries

·         How it can be deployed

·         Success stories of Six Sigma implementation

Lean Six Sigma & Green Belt Certification

Lean Six Sigma is a management concept that blends the product quality focus of Six Sigma with the process improvement focus of Lean.  Together the two help companies improve the quality of their product and develop efficient process for product delivery to the customer.  This hybrid is ideal for business leaders who want to take the first step toward proficiency in the application of both tools.
