Accounting Programs

Wayne F. Gibbs Accounting Society

The mission of the Wayne F. Gibbs Accounting Society is to support activities that encourage meaningful interactions among Mason School accounting students, business professionals, and the community.

The Wayne F. Gibbs accounting society is a student run organization at W&M for accounting majors, concentrators and those students who are simply interested in the accounting field.  In the fall and spring, Gibbs hosts presentations put on by recruiters who come to campus looking to hire students for full time positions and internships, information sessions about the William & Mary Masters of Accounting program, and the Becker CPA review course.  Additionally, the Gibbs society holds an annual dinner in the fall open to all declared accounting majors in which a distinguished speaker from the accounting industry will address current issues in the marketplace.

Membership is open to all of W&M's Mason School undergraduate and graduate students interested in the field of accounting. Click here to register as a member of the Gibbs Accounting Society. Once registered, you will receive emails notifying you of Gibbs activities, academic advising events, internship opportunities, and other important information.
