Marilyn Thaemert Wilkins has been with the company’s Accounting Policy at Marriott International, Inc. group since June of 2006.

Prior to joining Marriott, she was an Assistant Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Office of the Chief Accountant, from February 2003 to May 2006.   She was also a staff member in the Commission’s Division of Corporation Finance from September 2000 to December 2002 before becoming a senior staff member from January 2003 to February 2003.  Before joining the Commission’s staff, Marilyn was employed by Arthur Andersen LLP from 1994 to 2000, where she was most recently an Audit Manager.

Marilyn holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA.  Marilyn is a CPA (VA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
