In her role as Managing Partner – Audit, Candy is responsible for providing leadership and direction to Midatlantic Business Unit partners in charge, office managing partners, and audit partners with responsibility for meeting the firm’s priorities of risk management, profitable growth, and the creation of a Partner of Choice and Employer of Choice environment. In addition, she is the partner in charge of the Virginia Business Unit Audit practice where she oversees the operations of the Virginia Business Unit.

Candy has more than 28 years of experience as an audit
professional with KPMG. Her experience includes serving clients within the consumer and industrial products arena, including manufacturing, retailing, and distribution. Candy’s extensive business advisory experience has been gained through assisting her clients to resolve all types of accounting and operational issues. She has assisted a number of clients in registering their initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and bond offerings with the SEC. She also has assisted publicly and privately held clients in seizing timely opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and consolidations.

Candy is a member of the AICPA and the Virginia Society of
Certified Public Accountants. She holds a BS degree in
accounting from Kansas State University.
